ECP Starts Receiving Nomination Papers Of Candidates For General Election
The process for submitting nomination papers including nationalists, religious parties and independents candidates geared up in throughout Balochistan, and capital city Quetta.
QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2018 ) :The process for submitting nomination papers including nationalists, religious parties and independents candidates geared up in throughout Balochistan, and capital city Quetta.
According to the details, Jamiat Ulma-e- Ismlam leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Balochistan National Party (BNP) Syed Nasir Ali Shah, Jamiat-e-Islami Dr, Atta-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Younas Baloch, Hazara Democratic Party Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Awami National Party Arbab Umar Farooq Kasi, Nazar Jan, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Hayat, Mehmood Yar, Jalaluddin, Naseeb-Ullah, Muhammad Hashim, Fazalur-Rehman, and Shakila Naveed Dhewar submitted their nomination papers for NA- 266 to returning officer Ijaz Ahmed Lango to participate general election 2018.
Pakistan Peoples Party Malik Abdul Majeed Kakar, former senator Rozi Khan Kakar, Muhammad Qasim, Ghulam Ali and Arif Khan submitted their nomination papers for NA- 265 to returning officer Riaz Ahmed Kasi.
Amanullah Baloch, Malik Nematullah Bazai, Sami-Ullah, Muhammad Zefran, Malik Abdul Majeed Khan Kakar, Abdul Naseer Khan, Malik Shadi Khan Shahwani submitted their nomination papers for PB-24, besides, Abdul Baseer, Malik Mehmood Yar, Shamsur-Rehman, Abdul Wasay, Muhammd Arif, Wali Muhammad, Ghulam Nabi Marri also submitted their nomination papers for PB-32.
Awami National Party Abdul Rasheed Nasir and 16 other candidates submitted their nomination papers for PB- 25 while, Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Chief Coordinator Chaudhary Naved Ahmed submitted his nomination paper for PB -29.
Nawab Muhammad Mir Ali Bugti for PB -10 and NA- 259 submitted his nomination papers while former provincial Home minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Chairman Municipal Committee Dera Bugti Nawabzada Guhram Bugti, Chief of Culpar Mir Jalal, Ex MPA Mir Tariq Masoori Bugti submitted their nomination papers for PB-10.
While Nawabzada Gazain Marri submitted his nomination papers for PB-9 and would contest election as an independent aspirant while Nawab Changez Khan Marri, Mir Shahnawaz Marri, Mir Naseebullah Marri, Nawabzada Bazair Marri, National Party Mir Mehrab Baloch, BNP Malik Gaman Khan Marri, tribal elder Haji Mir Behar Khan, Dr, Jumma Khan Marri, Wazir Han Loharani, Israr-Ullah Marri, Awami Itehad Party Wadera Bahwal Khan also submitted their nomination papers for same PB-9 for contesting of general election.
The process of submission of nomination forms would continue till 8th of June.
Moreover, the provincial election commissioner, Nawaz Baloch, who is returning officer on specific seats of Minorities and women, said on 4th of June, 33 nomination papers of minorities an and 18 nomination papers of women were submitted.
After extension of two days from election commission, the process of submission of nomination papers would continue till 8th of June. While the process of scrutiny on nomination papers would held till 14th June, appeals would be listened till 19th June and symbols would be allotted on 29th June respectively. General Elections would be held on 25th July.
On Tuesday, the members of various political parties including advocates were present in office of election commission.
