Eight Persons Died As Jeep Falls Into Deep Ravine In AJK's Village

Mirpur,AJK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :Eight passengers, including a woman, were died as a jeep fell into a deep ravine near Sairi Dara village of the top mountainous area in the outskirts of Muzaffarabad district late Tuesday night, official sources confirmed.

The press secretary to AJK prime minister, quoting the immediately collected reports from the capital administration, confirmed the incident when contacted by APP. Attempts were being made to recover the bodies from the deep ditch in extremely hard area of the top mountain belt, an AJK duty police officer from Police Control Room Muzaffarabad told APP.

The hard-top jeep was on way from Muzaffarabad to its destination near Sairi Dara, the police officer said as more details were awaited. APP/ahr/tmg
