Election Commission Of Pakistan Urges Voters To Correct Their Mistakes In PER Before Tuesday Next

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has urged people to register themselves as voters and also rectify any anomaly or mistake in the preliminary electoral rolls 2018 by April 24.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2018 ) :The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has urged people to register themselves as voters and also rectify any anomaly or mistake in the preliminary electoral rolls 2018 by April 24.
According to a press release of ECP, the process of registration of new voters, correction and exclusion of voter's Names from preliminary electoral rolls 2018 (PER) would continue till Tuesday next.
The ECP's display centers have continued receiving complaints of citizens related to their registration, correction or removal of names from the electoral rolls. A person can obtain and submit forms number 15 for entry and transfer of vote, form number 16 for cancellation and form number 17 for correction of documents at their respective district display centers.
The voter should bring his/her original CNIC and attach the copy of CNIC with form number 15 and form number 17. The details of district display centres can also be checked on the website of Election Commission.
According to the ECP, the commission has included the names of all those in voters' lists who received their national identity card from period 2013 to 2018. The voters can confirm their registration and acquire details of their constituency on the mobile phones by sending Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) number to 8300.
