Faisal For NAB Reforms To Achieve Speedy Progress

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2018 ) :Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Wada has stressed the need for changes in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), laws for achieving speedy results.
Keeping in view the present situation, there was need to amend some old laws for enhancing efficiency in other institutions of the country, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
As far as changes in NAB laws was concerned, he said that the matter should be brought to parliament for debate so that necessary process could be followed for betterment of any institution, he added.
To a question about Director General NAB degree issue, he said that the issue would be taken up at the forum of party and cabinet.
To another question about language of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, used at the forum of National Assembly, he stated Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), leader should take care of the norms of Parliament and avoid using such remarks against any family member of the house.
"I could answer him in the same manner but keeping in view the decorum of this important forum, I avoid to pay him back, " he said.
The federal minister urged all the political parties including Opposition to come forward for resolving the issues of the people rather engaging themselves on non-issues for point scoring.
In new Pakistan, he said there was dire need to bring changes in 18th Amendment to put all the institutions on path of speedy progress.
Faisal Wada said that any matter relating to public welfare and institution should have been discussed at the forum of Parliament for resolution.
