Pakistani community, students and representatives of local media participated.Messages of President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, on the occasion, were read out to the audience.Students of Pakistan International school Cairo (PISC) gave a colorful performance on national and folk songs.

Leading daily newspapers, Daily Egyptian Gazette and Daily Al-Gamhouria, carried special supplements on the occasion.

Earlier, Chamberlain of the Presidency of the Arab republic of Egypt called on the Ambassador of Pakistan to convey felicitations from President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, to the government and the people of Pakistan on occasion of the National Day.Addressing the community, the Ambassador highlighted radical reforms introduced by the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan for efficient delivery of services to citizens.
