Following British Airways, German Airline Likely To Launch Flight Operation In Pakistan

A team of the German airline will soon visit Pakistan to review the situation.

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th January, 2018) Following British Airways, German Airline Lufthansa is interested to start flight operations to Pakistan.

This was informed by German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler in a meeting Deputy chairman of the Senate, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla.

The Senate deputy chairman stressed on strengthening Parliamentary, economic and trade ties between Pakistan and Germany.

He said that contact at parliamentary level will prove to be fruitful in understanding various issues. The Senate deputy chairman also told about his visit to Germany and appreciated Kobler for his active presence on social media.

Martin Kobler said also stressed the need for more cross party exchange between Germany and Pakistan.

The British Airways has recently announced that it would resume its flight operations to Pakistan from June, 2019 with direct flights between Heathrow-London and Islamabad thrice a week.

With the security situation being improved significantly improved in Pakistan, the militant attacks have sharply decreased in the country, giving ways to tourism and trade opportunities.
