ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2018 ) :Due to rising trend in property prices in Federal capital, getting home on a rent has become ever more difficult for many low and middle income families.
According to property dealers, house rents in posh areas have gone up by 15 to 20 per cent in the last one year. For example, the rent of a three-bedroom flat is at least Rs 40 to Rs 50,000. The rent has risen to Rs40,000 from Rs25,000 for a three-bedroom flat.
Most people from other cities reside here for the sake of job with families and were facing problems of heavy monthly amount of house rents. A house owner, claimed that he was paying 50 thousand tax annually and spend money on maintenance of home as well so this my right to take this amount.
Taking house on rent is no more affordable for low middle class families where monthly rents of normal houses ranges between Rs25,000 and Rs40,000 other area like Dhoke Kashmirian, Millat Colony, Khayaban, Shamsabad and Sadiqabad, the prices of rental accommodation ranges between Rs15,000 and Rs20,000.
Beside rent a tenant has to pay 20 thousand as advance n half of rent amount to propert dealrz. Talking to a tenant he said that "my salary ia 50 thousand it is very difficult for me to give 25 thound house rent for 5 marllas". He further said that "this is very ironic situation that there is no rental law in federal capital".
