ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Khel Das Kohistani, on Thursday said that the government remained fully committed to providing relief to the people and strengthening governance structures across the country.
Speaking to a private news channel, he said that the entire focus was on improving the economy, enhancing Pakistan’s global image, and ensuring prosperity and development of the state.
We are working with the spirit of ‘saving the state, not politics, he added.
Responding to a question, the minister welcomed the court decisions related to the May 9 violence cases. He said that those involved in orchestrating chaos and plotting against the state must be held accountable. “we fully support the legal and justice process,” he said.
He further said that no one would be allowed to hide behind political slogans while conspiring against national institutions.
“Political expression is a right, but conspiracies and violence against the state under the guise of politics are unacceptable,” he added.
