Govt. To Create Posts For Balochistan As Per Allocated Quota

The federal government will create more posts for Balochistan against the six percent quota specified for it as there is yet a difference of 1.64 percent and lacks of posts for the province.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Sep, 2018 ) :The Federal government will create more posts for Balochistan against the six percent quota specified for it as there is yet a difference of 1.64 percent and lacks of posts for the province.
It was stated by State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan while responding to a Calling Attention Notice in Senate which was regarding vacant posts of Balochistan against six percent quota in various departments.
The minister said that quota for Balochistan in federal jobs was raised from three percent to six percent in 2007. A total of 13,118 posts were identified following this quota of which recruitment has been made on 9023 posts while 4095 are lying vacant.
He said that Punjab has a total job quota of 50 percent followed by Sindh (19%), Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (11.5%) and Balochistan (6%) while remaining for FATA and other areas.
The quota of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will increase after merger of FATA into KP while the more posts will be created for Balochistan.
Out of six percent quota for Balochistan, 4.36 percent quota has been filled and remaining gap would be covered through creation of more post for the provicne, he maintained.
