Higher Education, Universities Main Sources For Development Of Country: Governor

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Dec, 2018 ) :Balocchistan Governor AmanUllah Khan Yasinzai Thrusday said Higher Education and universities were main sources for progress of the province.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony of 14th Convention of Balcohistan University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Science (BUITEMS) here.

Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS Quetta Engineer Farooq Ahmed Bazai, Registrar Jamal Mastafa, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

The governor said that the students who completed their graduation from this great educational institute would utilize their best capabilities for serving the country.

AmanUllah Yasinzai appreciated teachers and administrators of BUITEMS on their best performance regarding provision of education to the people of province.

He said teachers should continue their best efforts for providing standard education to the students as role of a teacher was really important for development of any society or nation.

Earlier, Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS Farooq Ahmed Bazai said the substandard educational system was a major obstacle in the way of bright future of the country.

Certificates were distributed among 678 students, 32 students were awarded for Gold Medals in various fields, while 14 students were awarded for badge of honor on their better performance in 14th Convocation by Chief Guest Balchistan Governor and Vice Chancellor of the university.
