Human Rights Day Observed At Faisalabad

Human Rights Day was observed here in the city and a special seminar was organised in this regard at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Human Rights Centre for Women here on Monday.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :Human Rights Day was observed here in the city and a special seminar was organised in this regard at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Human Rights Centre for Women here on Monday.

In-charge Centre Kanwal Shehzadi presided over the event in which a lecturer of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Toba Tek Singh campus, Nausheen Arshad, Social Welfare Officer Sanam Zahra and others delivered lectures.

Speaking on the occasion, Center In-charge said that women were being provided various facilties to protect them against harassment.

She said that the centrw also helped 4,604 women for getting suitable jobs so far besides providing legal and medical assistance.
