"Humanity In Excellence" Held At UVAS

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2016 ) : Character Building Society (CBS) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaborations with Information and Culture Department, Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), organised a motivational seminar on the topic of "Humanity in Excellence" here on Tuesday.
Dean Faculty of Life Sciences business Management Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad chaired the inaugural session of the seminar and welcomed the guest speaker, Syed Bilal Qutab, while Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Dr Nisar Ahmad and a large number of students from various UVAS departments and representative from (DGPR) were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nasim Ahmad described about history of the UVAS. He said the UVAS had been ranked among the top 10 universities of the country in overall ranking of Pakistani universities as well as in sports ranking by the Higher education Commission (HEC) Islamabad under the competent leadership.
He also lauded the role of Character Building Society (CBS) of the UVAS for organised a seminar in a befitting manner. Renowned teacher,host,intellectual & Sufi scholar Syed Bilal Qutab delivered a motivational lecture. He highlighted various aspects of human life according to Islamic perspective peace,tolerance and humanity.
