IGP Inquires After Blast Victims At Sharif Medical Complex

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Capt. (Retd) Arif Nawaz Khan on Wednesday visited Sharif Medical Complex to inquire about health of the injured of Raiwind suicide blast.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains and DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf accompanied the IGP. The IGP directed to ensure best medical facilities to the injured of blast and take care of families of martyrs.

Meanwhile, the IGP directed the RPOs and DPOs to beef up security in their respective areas and put in place all measures to provide foolproof security to sensitive installations, educational institutions, worship places, markets, recreational places and others.

He also directed to enhance checking and monitoring at all entry and exit points in the province, and accelerate search, sweep, combing and intelligence operations to maintain law and order. APP/dab-hsn/zqr
