Imran Ali Becomes First Ph.D Scholar From Mirpur University

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -22nd Sep,2016) : Local young scholar Imran Ali has attained distinction of being the first Ph.D scholar produced by the state-run Mirpur University of Science & Technology in its 8 years history.
Imran Ali son of Ali Ahmed, the Ph.D Scholar in Department of Biotechnology, in the Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST), successfully completed his studies in Ph.D Degree Programme after he inked his Thesis in Defense Studies, it was officially declared.
It was evaluated and approved by the global authorities of the studies of Science & Technology, Spokesperson of the Mirpur University of Science & Technology Murtaza Mahmood Raja told APP here on Thursday.
The MUST Spokesperson told that the young scholar Imran authored his Ph.D. Thesis in Defense under the supervision of Prof Dr Rehana Asghar, TI. "The title of his Ph.D dissertation was "Molecular engineering of endoglucanases for improved characteristics," Murtaza Mahmood said.
Dr. Imran Ali's thesis was evaluated and approved internationally by Prof. Dr. Suping Zhou, Department of Agriculture & Environmental Science, Tennessee State University, USA and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Caliskan, Department of Agricultural Genetic Engineering, Nigde University, Turkey and nationally by Prof.
Dr.
Kousar Malik, National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (NCEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore . All the evaluators appreciated his work and strongly recommended him for the award of PhD degree, the MUST Spokesperson said.
The MUST spokesperson said that Imran Ali will defend his PhD thesis in an open public defense that will be held on September 23, at 10:00 am in the Seminar Hall, first floor Science Block, No.
6 Main Campus, Mirpur University of Science & Technology, Mirpur. Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science & Technology Prof. Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) will attend the formal ceremony of the thesis authored by the young scholar of the varsity.
Besides, other seasoned academicians including Prof. Dr. Kousar Malik National examiner; Prof. Dr. Rehana Asghar, TI, Dean Faculty of Science; Prof. Dr Riaz Mughal, Dean Faculty of Engineering; Prof.
