Inter Departmental Table Tennis Tournament Begins Is SBBU

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2019 ) :The 3-days Inter Departmental Table Tennis tournament was inaugurated at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University on Friday.

According to organisers, teams of 10 departments including Information Technology, education department, Media studies department, Economics department, Chemistry department, English department, business Administration department, Statics department, Genetics department and Microbiology department are taking part in this tournament.

Tayyaba Zareef who inaugurated the tournament has said that co-curricular activities constituted an integral component of holistic development of youth. "A healthy society is essentially an offshoot of a society that safeguards, promotes and loves sports", she said.

Among others, Dean of Faculties Professor Dr Liaquat Ali Zardari, Registrar Najamuddin Suho, Dr. Afzal Kambho, Dr.Khalid Rind, Dastiar Ali Chandio, Tufail Ahmed Memon, Kashif Norani, Mukhtiar Ahmed Jamali and large number of students were present on the occasion.
