Iqra University Inks MoU With Essex University, UK

Iqra University Karachi and University of Essex, United Kingdom, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here, an official of Iqra said on Friday
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Dec, 2017 ) :Iqra University Karachi and University of Essex, United Kingdom, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here, an official of Iqra said on Friday.
He said that the MoU was signed by Bryn Morris, Registrar and Secretary of Essex University, and Prof. Dr. Wasim Qazi, Vice Chancellor of Iqra University. According to the MoU, both varsities have agreed for collaboration in research projects of mutual interest, collaboration with industries and faculty and students exchange programs which will greatly benefit the students and faculty members of Iqra University.
Discussing the purpose of the MoU at the signing, Vice Chancellor Dr. Wasim Qazi termed it a vital step for academic linkages with foreign universities since Essex University is a globally renowned and top ranked university of the world.
`This MoU with Essex University will be an impeccable achievement of Iqra University which has emerged as country's premier leading higher education institution having foreign academic collaborations with world's leading universities', added Dr. Qazi.
