Kashmir Solidarity Day observed in Balochistan

Like all other parts of the country, Kashmir Solidarity Day Monday was observed in Balochistan to express solidarity and whole-hearted support to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right of self-determination

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Feb, 2018 ) :Like all other parts of the country, Kashmir Solidarity Day Monday was observed in Balochistan to express solidarity and whole-hearted support to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right of self-determination.

Number of rallies and programs were arranged in various districts of Balochistan including Sibi, Chaman, Naseerabad, Dera Murad Jamali, Pashin , Bolan and Hernai on the occasion. Protest rally was held at Public Park in Sibi on Kashmir Solidarity Day under the leadership of the district chairman, Malik Qayem udin Dheyal against the oppression of Kashmiri brothers.

Different schools and colleges' students joined the rally and chanted slogans 'Kashmir will become Pakistan soon'. A solidarity rally was arranged in district Bolan on Kashmir Day which was led by Chairman Municipal Committee Dhadar Syed Mohammad Ali Shah.

A large number of students and citizens joined the rally. Pashtun tribes, various political parties and organizations gathered on the Mall Road and Afghan highway in Chaman and arranged rallies to express solidarity with Kashmir brothers, sisters and children who have sacrificed their lives for cause of freedom.

Thousands of people also joined a rally, carrying the country's flags and portraits of Kashmiri leaders. Commander FC Col Muhamad Usman, DC Saif Khetran also participated in this rally in Chaman and remarked that we would continue our fight till the independence of Kashmir.

The ceremony at Chaman Football ground observed one-minute of silence to honour the Kashmiri martyrs. Similarly Kashmir day ceremony was also observed in Naseerbada at Deputy Commisisoner Office.

DC Naseerabad Dr Muhammad Yasir Bazai while addressing the ceremony said 'International community should take notice of Indian brutalities continue in Kashmir.' Tribal people in Pashin also organized a big rally from the district office Qazi Housing Scheme which culminated at main city chowk.

Tribal leader Mohammad Aslam Dargarwal led the rally in Pashin and said that the Pakistani and Kashmiris were constantly standing together on the lingering issue of Kashmir which was a threat for peace in the region.

Kashmiris considered themselves Pakistani and wanted to live under the Pakistani flag, he added. A Solidarity rally was held in district Hernai that was led by DC Abdul Salam Achakzai. The rally started from Government Boys High school and culminated at the press club.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Salam Achakzai, Captain Umar of FC 77 Wing, District education Officer Mohammad Arif Tareer, Tehsildar Sardar Abdul Majid Khan Jogazai, and Inspector Police Pista Khan Tareen while addressing the rally said that Kashmir was an incomplete agenda of British rulers in the subcontinent, adding they tied hundreds of Muslims in a chain of slavery.

They said that thousands of Kashmiris had been martyred due to illegal Indian military action in Kashmir.
