KP Assembly Standing Committee Meets In Abbottabad To Address Issues Of Hazara

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :A meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Standing Committee on Home and Tribal Affairs chaired by Nazir Ahmad Abbasi was held at the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by DIG Hazara, Mir Wais Niaz, MPAs including Nasir Ullah Khan, Zeenat Bibi, Naeema Kishwar, Muhammad Didar Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Mufti Ubaidur Rehman, Laiq Muhammad Khan, Deputy Secretary KP Assembly, Inam Ullah Khan Durrani and concerned police officers.
The meeting deliberated upon law and order, steps against business of narcotics and illegal arms, police performance, financial difficulties and other issues in Torghar, Lower Kohistan, Upper Kohistan and Kalai Palas districts.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over maintenance of law and order in these districts.
Addressing the meeting, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi said though law and order maintenance in these districts was much better, there was room to bring further improvement in the state of affairs. He said we have to take practical steps to bring tangible improvement in our performance.
The participants of the meeting thanked the chairman for holding the meeting in Abbottabad to address the issues being faced by the people of Hazara Division.
