Lahore High Court Express Displeasure For Not Retrieving Graveyard, Parks Land

The Lahore High Court on Thursday expressed displeasure over the report of district administration for not retrieving land from encroachers in graveyards and parks of the city.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2018 ) :The Lahore High Court on Thursday expressed displeasure over the report of district administration for not retrieving land from encroachers in graveyards and parks of the city.

During hearing, a petition filed by a citizen Muhammad Shoaib against encroachment of the Parks and graveyard's land in the city.

Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi expressed dissatisfaction over lack of action by the authorities concerned for the recovery of the illegally occupied land.

Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi observed that the court would see this matter in depth and those responsible for illegality would be taken to task. The judge adjourned further proceedings till next week and sought comprehensive report from the district administration.
