LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2019 ) :Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed has said that the process of acquisition of land for the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in different cities of the province is under way at a fast pace.

He said this while chairing a meeting of the Punjab Housing Task Force at Lake Road office, here on Friday.

He said that amendments were being made to the laws of relevant institutions with regard to projects of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.

Chairman Federal Task Force on Housing Zaigham Rizvi briefed the meeting about the project on federal level.

He also apprised the meeting about availability of land in the federal capital.

In the meeting, briefings regarding rural housing, liaison with international investors and developers, development of new cities, sustainable building material/system, 3D design of building/houses were given.

The chairman specially attended the meeting while Vice Chairman LDA SM Imran, DG Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) Liaquat Ali Chatha and representatives of private builders and developers were also present.
