Lawyers Boycott Courts Over Sahiwal Incident

Boycotted courts in protest against the Sahiwal incident and demanded judicial inquiry into the tragedy
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :The legal fraternity of the metropolis on Monday boycotted courts in protest against the Sahiwal incident and demanded judicial inquiry into the tragedy.
The lawyers observed the strike on the call of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council.
They said that extra-judicial killings in the incident was an inhumane act and added that a judicial inquiry should be initiated into the incident to bring all the responsible to justice.
They also underlined the need for working out a comprehensive policy to prevent occurrence of such incident in future.
