Lawyers Observe Black Day Against Indian Atrocities

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : Lawyers community here on Wednesday observed black day against Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir. The lawyers hoisted black flags on bar buildings and wore black armbands to mark the day.
In this connection, the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) held a meeting of its general house to condemn the Indian atrocities. The meeting was chaired by LBA President Arshad Jahangir Jojha and a participated by a large number of lawyers. At this occasion, the speakers condemned the Indian atrocities, saying that all lawyers stand with their Kashmiri brothers.
They urged the government to raise the Kashmir issue on international forums and the OIC for its solution in accordance with the UNO resolutions. They urged the government to formulate a solid policy on the Kashmir issue in consultation with all stake-holders. The participants paid rich tributes to martyrs, who offered their lives for the Kashmir cause.
Later, they took out a rally from Aiwan-e-Adl to PMG Chowk and chanted slogans in favour of Kashmiris.
