Let. Col. Ghulam Rasool Died On Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Oct, 2016 ) : LT. Col. (Retd) Ghulam Rasool, father-in-Law of Prof. Dr. Syed Abdul Siraj, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and chairman Department of Mass Communication Allama Iqbal Open University died here on Wednesday after protracted illness.
He had joined Army educational Core in 1957 and got retired in 1983, said a news release here on Wednesday.
He had also served as Director education in A.U. Khan Research Laboratory. He had also been running Pakistan Quality Education school in Rawalpindi.
He had done his MSc in mathematics from Punjab University. He left behind two sons and two daughters. One of his daughter Mrs. Shagufta Siraj is serving as professor in AIOU. He was also father-in-law of Maj. Gen. (Retd) Dr. Maqbool Ahmed. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 2 pm, Race Course ground, Rawalpindi.
