LAHORE, Jan 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : The Lahore High Court (LHC) has contradicted a news item, published in a section of press, about evaluation of its own judges's performance.
According to a LHC press release issued here on Friday, LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah did not comment on the role of Chief Justice of Pakistan or the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the internal case management plan of the Lahore High Court, in an informal meeting with media held on January 5.
"Case Management Plan has been prepared by the LHC itself for the expeditious disposal of the cases to address the grievance of litigant public well within time" it added. It was further clarified that news published regarding assessment of LHC judges on the basis of their performance and making classification thereof was also incorrect.
