National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) would a organize a literary session "Muzakra" on Rumi's Philosophy of Love, Wisdom and Mysticism" here Thursday.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) would a organize a literary session "Muzakra" on Rumi's Philosophy of love, Wisdom and Mysticism" here Thursday.

Joint Secretary Information Dr Najeeb likely to be the chief guest.

Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Khan and Muhammad Saleem Sethi will be the main speakers for the said literary session.

Though, Maulana Rumi belongs to Iran but he enjoys the equal level reverence and ownership in Pakistan by the virtue of having an internationally recognized status as a Sufi personality.

In the same session, the participants will also have the chance to listen to the recitation of selected mathnavis of Rumi by Muhammad Saleem Sethi.

He will recite them both in Persian and urdu. He himself has done the versified translation of mathnavis of Rumi into Urdu. His book on versified translation of mathnavis is ready for publication. Sethi shall also give a short but concise and insightful review of the personality of Rumi.
