MEPCO Imposes Fine Rs 2.1m On 77 Pilferers

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) imposed a fine of over Rs 2.1 millions on 77 pilferers during a crackdown in the region here Friday
According to the MEPCO office sources, a task force along with the district administration and police launched a crackdown and caught 77 pilferers.
The task force also imposed a fine of over Rs 2.1 million on them for stealing 132,000 electricity units.
The task force also got registered FIRs against 13 pilferers with the police stations, the sources added.
