Minister Reviews Muharram Security Arrangements

Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resources Ansar Majeed Niazi Wednesday urged the ulema and religious scholars to play role for maintaining law and order during Muharram.

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resources Ansar Majeed Niazi Wednesday urged the ulema and religious scholars to play role for maintaining law and order during Muharram.

The minister, while chairing a meeting here at the Deputy Commissioner's office to review security arrangements, said the role of ulema could never be ignored in maintenance of peace.

There was dire need to keep eyes on anti-state elements and stressed the departments concerned to remain alert during Muharram 9 and 10, he said.

He also directed the district administration to place emergency numbers of a control room at prominent places in all tehsils and also make functional landline phones.
