Ministers, MPAs Discuss Uplift Projects With Punjab CM

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2017 ) :Provincial ministers and Members of the Punjab Assembly called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Tuesday, separately.
Talking on the occasion, the chief minister said that comprehensive programme had been launched to achieve the targets of composite development. Under this programme, a network of development projects had been spread while giving particular importance to the less-developed areas.
"That is why, billions of rupees are being spent for progress and prosperity of southern Punjab," he added. The CM said that development projects were an example of their own with regard to transparency, and billions of rupees had been saved in these development projects, which were being utilised on health, education and other projects.
The credit for introducing third-party audit system for ensuring transparency in development schemes goes to the Punjab government, he added.
He said the government was the custodian of every penny of people and all resources were meant for progress of people.
Meanwhile, energy projects had been completed in record period of time and pace of progress had been accelerated due to decrease in load-shedding, he added. He made it clear that public service was his lifelong mission and he would continue to serve the people till his last breath.
The elements impeding the development process and involved in the negative politics will get nothing except embarrassment in the next elections, concluded the Chief Minister. Those who called on the chief minister included Provincial Ministers Sher Ali Khan, Muhammad Iqbal Channar and Members of the Punjab Assembly namely Muhammad Saqlain Anwar Sipra and Muhammad Waris Kallu.
