Mortar shell explosion kills two children in Swat

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2018 ) :At least two children were died while three other sustained injuries when an old mortar shell they were playing with exploded in Swat on Wednesday.

According to police, the children were playing with the mortar shell unaware of it being the bomb, in the nearby fields in village Nelagram when it went off injuring five of them.

Two injured children succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

The dead were identified as Umer and Sudais. Three children were under treatment at Saidu Sharif Hospital Swat.
