Independent candidate Makhdom Zada Sayed Basit Ahmad Sultan has won NA-185 with 94282 votes.

Muzaffargarh (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Makhdom Zada Sayed Basit Ahmad Sultan has won NA-185 with 94282 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in NA-185 Muzaffargarh-V constituency with 94282 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 88379 votes. The second runner up was Bahawalpur National Awami Party candidate Muhammd Farooq Azam Malik who got 65984 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-185. In 2013 elections, there were 334038 voters registered in NA-185, out of which 174131 votes were polled out.
