Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Najeeb Haroon has won NA-256 with 89850 votes.

Karachi Central (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Najeeb Haroon has won NA-256 with 89850 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-256 Karachi Central-lV constituency with 89850 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 151788 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Zubair Khan who got 69072 votes.

At least 15 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-256. In 2013 elections, there were 459185 voters registered in NA-256, out of which 249023 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 54.23 %. Detailed results can be found here
