ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2018) : His Highness Nawab of Junagadh Nawab Jahangir Khanji along with Tahir Mehmood Public Relations MUSLIM Institute, called on the Former Foreign Minister & Speaker National Assembly Gohar Ayub Khan and Former State Minister for Finance Umar Ayub Khan. During the meeting sacrifices of the Pakistan armed forces were discussed, especially the commitment of General Ayub Khan towards the National Issues like Kashmir, Junagadh was commendable.

Junagadh is an important issue of Pakistan, all state institutions specially the Armed forces of Pakistan should raise and highlight all outstanding issues between India and Pakistan, especially Pakistani territories under the India Occupation like Kashmir, Junagadh etc.

Althoug Kashmir is the most important issue of Pakistan but at the same time the importance of Junagadh cannot be denied.

Case of Junagadh is still pending in United Nations. Junagadh is an integral part of Pakistan lawfully as there is a genuine 'Instrument of Accession' duly signed by Nawab of Junagadh & Quaid e Azam, so it means that Indian occupation is illegal, and Pakistan’s claim on Junagadh is still legally genuine at international level because 'Instrument of Accession' is still intact; so Pakistan should fight for this case on all international forums. During discussion Nawab Jahangir Khanji also said that with the kindness of Pakistan Army and then Field Marshal Ayub Khan, a state funeral was given to my Grand Father Being the Nawab of the State of Junagadh, Nawab Mahabat Khanji. The facilities to his highness Nawab of Junagadh should be extended from the government of Pakistan in recognition of his sacrifices and to ensure that he can handle this case more effectively.
