NBF Establishes Eminent Writers Corner

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th july,2016) : National Book Foundation (NBF) has established eminent 'writers corner' here at Foundation Headquarter bookshop. The Foundation established corners of prominent writers including Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi, Ishfaq Ahmed, Sahadat Hasan Minto, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, Intizar Hussain and Qudratullah Shahab. An official of NBF told APP that the book readers and visitors of bookshop can obtain any book from the writers corners of their choice.

He said that basically the writers corner aimed to pay tribute to the literary contribution of prominent writers and scholars.

He said that number of visitors lauded the writers corner scheme as its stored the books of prominent writers at one separate place in the bookshop.

He said that under the readers clubs scheme books are provided to members at 50% discount for promotion of reading habit at 47 important cities, adding that the rest of the half is paid by the NBF. Books can be obtained on 55% discount from NBF Bookshops under this scheme.
