Number Of Arazi Centres To Be Increased: Minister

Provincial Minister Revenue Malik Muhammed Anwer said on Monday that number of Arzai Record Centers was being increased to ensure provision of maximum facilitation to the public.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister Revenue Malik Muhammed Anwer said on Monday that number of Arzai Record Centers was being increased to ensure provision of maximum facilitation to the public.
In a meeting with Land Record Director General M. Aslam Rao here, the Minister also thanked Punjab Chief Minister for approving Revenue Department's proposal regarding increasing the number of Arazi Centres across the province.
Revenue Minister said that scope of these centres would be extended to the level of Kanoongo in phases. In the first phase, he added, 102 new Arazi centres would be established at Kanoongo level, while 20 vans would be procured for Mobile Arazi Centres to be operated in far-flung areas to facilitate people of these areas at their doorstep.
Land Record DG Rao Aslam briefed the provincial minister that Punjab Chief Minister had directed to identify land for the establishment of new Arazi Centres and also set up a technical committee to deal with price identification and procurement of mobile vans.
The Provincial Minister instructed the DG to make arrangements to complete this project speedily so as to ensure real relief to the people.
