Opening Ceremony Of National Good Governance, Leadership Course

The first edition of the National Good Governance and Leadership Course organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association in collaboration with Pakistan Olympic Association commenced on Thursday at scenic Kalam
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) - The first edition of the National Good Governance and Leadership Course organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association in collaboration with Pakistan Olympic Association commenced on Thursday at scenic Kalam, Swat.
The main feature of the Good Governance and Leadership Course is being introduced in line with IOC, Olympic Agenda 2020 recommendations for Basic Universal Principles of Good Governance of the Olympic and Sports Movement, said a spokesman of POA here.
It is an effort to comply with the directions of IOC to promote Olympic and Sports Movement through Good Governance at all levels. As many as 31 participants both male and female were present in the three-day course, he added.
Syed Aqil Shah, Vice President of the Pakistan Olympic Association, formally inaugurated the Course, which is the third one awarded by POA, organized by KP Olympic Association. KP Olympic Association organized these courses in way back 2006 and 2009, followed by a course in 2017, Syed Aqil Shah informed the gathering while addressing in his opening speech.
He thanked Lt Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan HI(M), President POA for reposing trust on KPOA and further said that in the leadership of the President Pakistan Olympic Association and his team, sports in Pakistan is in safe hand and things are going to the right way.
