Pakistan Reduces Visit, Trade Visa Fee For Saudi Citizens

The recommendation was approved by the Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Jeddah (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th December, 2018) Pakistan has significantly reduced the visit and trade visa fee for Saudi Arabia.
The visit visa fee has been fixed at $60 and trade visa for $90.
On the other hand, Saudi government is also expected to reduce the visit visa fee for Pakistani citizens.
According to Pakistani consulate in Saudi Arabia, a recommendation for reducing visit visa fee for Saudi citizens was made by Pakistani consulate in Saudi Arabia.
The recommendation was approved by the Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
Pakistan issues visit visas to Saudi citizens for a month, which can be extended.
Before the development, Pakistan’s visit visa fee for Saudi citizens was $60 (3600 Riyal) and trade visa fee was $90 (5000 Riyal).
They have now been reduced to 225 Riyal and 337 Riyal respectively.
Officials in Pakistani consulate said that the Saudi authorities will also reduce the visit visa fees for Pakistani citizens. The visit visa fee will be significantly reduced from 2000 Riyal.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia had reduced the visit visa fee for India, Jordan, Egypt and other countries to 305 Riyal.
The foreign ministries of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia continue to negotiate about reducing the visit visa fee.
The reduction in visit visa fee will facilitate millions of Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia. The overseas Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia will be able to call their family there at a low cost.
