PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2017 ) :Working under the directives issued by Chief Executive Pesco Engineer Shabir Ahmad, drive against illegal use of electricity is continued throughout the Province.

A Pesco statement said here Wednesday that Pesco Surveillance Wapda House Teams under the supervision of Director Tahir Moeen checked different areas of Domail sub division of Bannu Circle. During the inspection direct power supply to 60 houses was detected while underground cable was also discovered that was being used for electricity theft.

Dozens of tempered meters were also recovered. It said that drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks will continue in all circles. Director surveillance Tahir Moeen on this occasion warned the consumers to avoid power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation otherwise strict action will be taken against electricity pilferers.

He warned that Pesco employees, providing support to consumers in power pilferage will also be taken to task and strict departmental action will be taken against them.
