Peshawar High Court Launches Video Conferencing Technology

The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has become a pioneer to introduce video conferencing technology for simultaneously holding timely and swift meetings and conferences with District and Sessions Judges in 27 districts of the province.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Dec, 2018 ) :The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has become a pioneer to introduce video conferencing technology for simultaneously holding timely and swift meetings and conferences with District and Sessions Judges in 27 districts of the province.

The first three-hour long meeting between Peshawar High Court and all District and Sessions Judges including other judicial officers took place on Saturday to discuss effectiveness of the "Unit Policy, performance of the District Judiciary and other related issues.

The Peshawar High Court can now hold important and instant meetings with the District Judiciary through this technology which will overcome distance barriers and reduce travel related expenses and time consumption.

With no need of wasting precious time on travelling from far-flung and remote districts like Kohistan, Chitral and D.I Khan after introduction of this technology, now the judicial officers can utilize their extra time on productive work in courts.

Worthy Registrar, Peshawar High Court, Khwaja Wajihuddin said that this technology will be utilized in all future meetings and interactions with the District Judiciary, exempting Judicial Officers from traveling to PHC thus saving substantial amount of money and time spent on travelling.
