PILDAT Sees Improvement In Election Staff's Polling-day Operations

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2018 ) :The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has noticed improvement in training and impartiality of polling staff and their overall management during the polling-day operations in General Election-2018 as compared to the last election.
According to a PILDAT report, polling arrangements for voters remained�64%�secure in general election 2018 as compared to the score of 44% during the general election 2013.
In terms of polling day management, a steady improvement was recorded since 2002 and 2008 when the process received a score of 40% respectively, improving to 44% in 2013 and now to 64% in 2018.
However, according to the report counting of votes, compilation and transmission of results have received the lowest score of�40%.
