Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Liaqat Ali Khan has won PK-17 with 22864 votes.

Lower Dir (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Liaqat Ali Khan has won PK-17 with 22864 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-17 Lower Dir-V constituency with 22864 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Fazal Shakkor Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 24100 votes. The second runner up was Awami National Party candidate Mohammad Ahmad Khan who got 12611 votes.

At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-17. In 2013 elections, there were 132490 voters registered in PK-17, out of which 57228 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 43.19 %. Detailed results can be found here
