PM Imran Takes Rs 2 Lac Salary, Details Revealed

With the deduction of Rs 4,595 tax, the prime minister gets a salary of Rs 196,979.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th March, 2019) Being the prime minister of the country, Imran Khan only takes around Rs 2 lac salary.
The details of his salary have been revealed to the media.
According to the salary slip, his basic pay is Rs 107,280.
He gets a saptuary allowance of Rs 50,000 besides three adhoc relief allowances of Rs 21,456, Rs 12,110 and Rs 10,728.
This makes a total of Rs 201,574.
With the deduction of Rs 4,595 tax, the prime minister gets a salary of Rs 196,979.
This salary is even less than those of various ministers and chief ministers.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is fully committed to adopting austerity by avoiding unnecessary expenditures for saving government money.
Prime Minister Imran while kicking off the austerity drive from his own, announced to reside at the three-bed residence of the Military Secretary instead of the lavish PM House.
The prime minister said none of the governors would reside in the governor house and ensure maximum austerity in the chief minister houses of the PTI-led provinces.
The resources saved by austerity measures are to be spent on welfare of the masses, he vowed.
The Federal Cabinet has also directed the ministries to continue austerity measures and cut expenditures by 10 per cent as checking the government expenditure is crucial to overcome fiscal deficit.
