Police Recover 404 Kg Charras, 9546 Liters Liquor, 9.718 Kg Heroin In 7 Months In Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi district police in their crackdowns against drug peddlers recovered over 404 kilograms charras, 9546 liters liquor, 9.718 kg heroin, 2.480 kg opium, 88 cane beer, six grams crystal besides netting 1,302 accused including 24 drunkards during last seven months.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2018 ) :Rawalpindi district police in their crackdowns against drug peddlers recovered over 404 kilograms charras, 9546 liters liquor, 9.718 kg heroin, 2.480 kg opium, 88 cane beer, six grams crystal besides netting 1,302 accused including 24 drunkards during last seven months.

According to a police spokesman, district police on the directive of City Police Officer Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan conducted special raids during last week and rounded up 44 drug peddlers and registered 43 FIRs. Police also recovered 38.900 kg charras, eight kg heroin and 205 liters liquor during last week.

He said two days ago, Naseerabad police arrested two drugs smugglers namely Ahsan Ullah and Ahsan ul Haq and recovered eight kg heroinfrom their vehicle while Taxila police recovered 23.50 kg charras from thepossession of Sheraz.
