Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Umer Tanveer has won PP-15 with 38429 votes.

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Umer Tanveer has won PP-15 with 38429 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-15 Rawalpindi-X constituency with 38429 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ejaz Hussain Bukhari was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 28437 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Suleman Sarwar who got 24055 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-15. In 2013 elections, there were 198413 voters registered in PP-15, out of which 111793 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.34 %. Detailed results can be found here
