Independent candidate Fida Hussain has won PP-237 with 56411 votes.

Bahawalnagar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Fida Hussain has won PP-237 with 56411 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-237 Bahawalnagar-I constituency with 56411 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Muhammad Naeem Akhtar Khan Bhabha was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 45436 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Muhammad Afzal Khan Khichi who got 34049 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-237. In 2013 elections, there were 151700 voters registered in PP-237, out of which 96972 votes were polled out.
