Prices of fruits, vegetables remain stable in Super Markets

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in Kohsar Market, Super Market and Jinnah Super Market.

According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here Tuesday, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 32 per kilogram, Onion Rs 31, Tomato Rs 35, Ginger Rs 110, Garlic (China) Rs 305, Garlic Local 340, Lemon Rs 64, Lady Finger Rs 95/66, Pumpkin Rs 53, Brinjal Rs 44, Peas Rs 49, Fresh Bean Rs 43, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 40, Cucumber Rs 46, Capsicum Rs 72/50, Green Chilli Rs 60, Cauliflower Rs 28/21, Cabbage Rs 40, Bitter Gourd Rs 80/62, Spinach Rs 22/16, Radish Rs 19, Turnip Rs 28,Yam Rs 79, Maroo Rs 32, Carrot Rs 27, Chicken Rs 112 and Egg per dozen Rs 118.

Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 133/98, Apple Golden Rs 115/76, Apple White Rs 98/60, Apple China Rs 175/140, Banana Pak Rs 95/52, Grapes Toffee Rs 165/140, Guava 85/44, Pomegranate Rs 186/135, Musumi Rs 124/105, Shakri Rs 140/115, Kino Rs 120/85, Fruiter Rs 95/56, Pear China Rs 175/140.
