Jacobabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Aslam Abro has won PS-1 with 36896 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PS-1 Jacobabad-I constituency with 36896 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate MUHAMMAD SALEEM RAJPUT was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 25399 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate ANWAR AHMED KHAN MAHAR who got 18975 votes.

At least 48 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-1. In 2013 elections, there were 121179 voters registered in PS-1, out of which 66304 votes were polled out.
