Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Shehzad Awan has won PS-116 with 9966 votes.

Karachi West (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Shehzad Awan has won PS-116 with 9966 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PS-116 Karachi West-V constituency with 9966 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate MEHMOOD ABDUL RAZZAQUE was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 47286 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate IRUM WAHAB BUTT who got 27167 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-116. In 2013 elections, there were 163968 voters registered in PS-116, out of which 89807 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 54.77 %. Detailed results can be found here
