According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in PS-123 Karachi Central-I constituency with 28161 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Sheeraz Waheed was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 88625 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan (Noorani) candidate Hafiz Noorulain Ansari who got 2831 votes.

At least 9 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-123. In 2013 elections, there were 169146 voters registered in PS-123, out of which 93974 votes were polled out.
