
PTDC Resturants,motels In Remote Areas Attracts Huge Crowd:Official

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) :Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC),resturants,motels and hotels in far flung area attracting a large number of tourists. Talking to APP General Manager PTDC Ali Akbar Malik said "The prime objective of PTDC was to promote tourism in remote and under- developed areas, where private sector was shy to invest. "PTDC was being taking various steps for the revival of tourism in Pakistan which would bring good and positive results ."he added. He said that domestic tourism in the country has regained momentum this year. The ratio of tourists increased by 25 percent as compared to last year due to the measures taken by the government for improved law and order situation in those areas.
Being the National Tourism Organization of the country, PTDC regularly undertakes a number of activities for students and youth groups to introduce and create awareness about tourist attractions of Pakistan.
PTDC also runs daily transport service from Rawalpindi to Naran and a number of discounted tour packages have been introduced."he said. PTDC had a chain of 39 motels and three restaurants, which were providing best facilities to the tourists.
