PTI Notifies 8-member Board For Selection Of Nazim, Naib Nazim For Abbottabad

Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf on Friday formed new eight-member parliamentary board for the selection of District Nazim and Naib Nazim candidate for Abbottabad and canceled its previous notification of December 31
The members of the board would include district president Abbottabad Naqeebullah Khan, MNA Ali Khan Jadoon, Speaker KP Assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani, KP food minister Qalandar Khan Lodhi, Chairman DADEK committee Nazeer Abbassi, former candidate for NA-15 Ali Asghar Khan, Sardar Khalid and Naeem Akhtar Tanooli.
After the issuance of election schedule and nomination of Returning Officers for the election of district Nazim and Naib Nazim, on December 31, PTI central secretariat had formed a five-member board which was later cancelled by the new notification of January 9.
The board had invited the nomination papers for the slots of district Nazim and Naib Nazim Abbottabad till January 14.
The interested candidate for the district Nazim included Ghazanfar Ali Abbasi member district council from Namal, Naveed Khan Jadoon Kakul, Col. (R) Sardar Shabeer Nagri Bala and Sajid Abbassi whereas the present Nazim Sardar Saeed Anwar after resignation expected to join the contest.
While the interested candidate for the Naib Nazim slot was Kamran Gul Advocate district council from UC Jhangi, Iqbal Khan Jadoon Nawanshar, Sardar Safeer and Babu Jabed Iqbal.
